Houthis warn international airlines against Saudi flights

Houthis have renewed warnings to airlines, aviation personnel and travellers against using Saudi airports and airspace, declaring them potential targets for military operations, with the exception of airports in Mecca and Madinah.

Axar.az reports, citing Yemen’s Al-Masirah TV, that the group's spokesperson Yahya Saree urged all concerned parties to take the warning seriously.

Saree said Saudi Arabia would be held responsible for any failed interception attempts, adding that Yemen would continue its policy of “airport for airport, blockade for blockade, and escalation for escalation” until its objectives were achieved.

Houthis called on airlines, airport personnel and travellers to exercise caution when considering the use of Saudi airports and airspace.
