Iran launches drone strike in Iraqi Kurdistan, three dead

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) carried out a drone strike targeting opposition groups in Iraq’s Kurdistan Region of Iraq, killing three people and injuring five others.

Axar.az reports that the Hamza Sayyid Al-Shuhada headquarters, affiliated with the IRGC Ground Forces, said its units carried out a “precise drone strike” on positions belonging to an Iranian Kurdish opposition group in the areas of Jaznikan, Iraq and Balisan, Iraq.

The IRGC said three people were killed and five others wounded in the attack.
