Turkiye condemns Samud Flotilla seizure by Israel

The attack carried out by Israeli forces in international waters against the Global Sumud Flotilla, which was organized to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza, constitutes an act of piracy.

Axar.az reports, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye, by targeting the flotilla, whose mission was to draw attention to the humanitarian crisis faced by civilians in Gaza, Israel has violated humanitarian principles, international law, and the principle of freedom of navigation on the high seas.

According to the statement, all necessary measures are being taken, in coordination with other relevant countries, regarding the well-being of Turkish citizens and other passengers on board the flotilla.

It should be noted that the Israeli Navy intercepted the flotilla en route to the Gaza Strip.
