The dates of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to China have been officially confirmed.

Axar.az reports that Putin will pay an official visit to China on May 19–20 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The visit is timed to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation between the two countries, which laid the foundation for their intergovernmental relations.

During the visit, Putin and Xi Jinping are expected to discuss key issues in bilateral relations, including further deepening the comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation between Russia and China, as well as exchange views on major international and regional issues.
