Armenia, US sign strategic partnership charter

A Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Charter has been concluded between Armenia and the United States.

Axar.az reports, citing Armenian media, the document was signed by Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who was visiting Yerevan.

The two sides also signed a framework agreement on cooperation under the TRIPP project, along with a framework memorandum concerning mineral extraction and processing.

Armenian media further report that the signing ceremony was held at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan.
