Erdogan holds call with Pakistan PM Sharif

A telephone conversation has taken place between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Axar.az reports that the leaders discussed Turkiye–Pakistan bilateral relations, as well as regional and global developments.

President Erdogan stated that Turkiye will continue taking steps aimed at advancing relations with Pakistan across all fields.

He emphasized that Turkiye and Pakistan, together with brotherly countries, are working to end conflicts in the region and establish peace and stability, adding that mediation efforts are valuable and expressing hope for positive outcomes from ongoing negotiations.

Erdogan also wished Eid al-Adha Mubarak to Prime Minister Sharif and the people of Pakistan.
