Ukrainian forces have struck a Russian convoy of around 50 fuel and ammunition trucks near Armiansk in Crimea, destroying several vehicles.
Axar.az informs, citing Ukrainian media, the information was provided by Dmytro Filatov, commander of the 1st Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsiubailo, during an appearance on Suspilne Studio.
"Because the Chonhar Bridge has been damaged, the enemy concentrated a large number of lorries carrying military cargo, which were travelling through Armiansk.
As a result, when we carried out the strike, we managed to hit lorries transporting fuel and ammunition. There were around 50 vehicles, and some of them were destroyed," he noted.
Filatov also said that the Chonhar Bridge in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson Oblast is currently unusable for traffic due to critical structural damage. He added that Russian forces are attempting to establish alternative supply routes, including through the use of pontoon crossings.
The commander noted that strikes on logistics routes have complicated the supply of Russian units, forcing commanders on the front line to devote more attention to sustaining their troops and finding new supply solutions.
