Turkiye has confirmed its readiness to provide a venue for further negotiations aimed at resolving the Ukraine conflict.

Axar.az reports, speaking to Russia’s Channel One, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said the issue was reaffirmed during a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan.

“You know that several rounds of negotiations have already taken place. Yesterday, the readiness of the Turkish authorities to provide a platform for further contacts on the Ukrainian settlement was confirmed,” Ushakov said.

Ushakov added that Putin had also presented Russia’s position on the Ukraine conflict to leaders of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) during the first session of their summit.
