Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili is expected to attend the funeral ceremonies for Iran’s late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

Axar.az reports, citing WANA, that delegations from Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia are expected to attend the burial ceremony on July 9.

According to the report, Iran’s vice president said senior foreign officials attending the funeral will also hold bilateral meetings with Iranian officials.

Ali Khamenei was killed in a joint U.S.-Israeli strike on Tehran on February 28 and was succeeded by his son, Mojtaba Khamenei.
