6.1-magnitude earthquake strikes southwestern Japan

A 6.1-magnitude earthquake has struck near the Kume and Miyako islands in southwestern Japan.

Axar.az reports that the Japan Meteorological Agency released the information.

There have been no reports of casualties or damage, and no tsunami warning has been issued.
