Peskov: Russia won't prove Baltic drone claims

Russia will not try to prove that Ukraine is using the Baltic states' airspace for drone flights.

Axar.az reports, citing Russian media, that Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov made the remarks in response to a question about the alleged use of Baltic airspace by Ukrainian drones.

"Our military and intelligence services see where the drones come from and how they fly. Everyone knows this well, and we are not going to prove anything to anyone," he said.

"We closely monitor the sources of threats to our border regions and deeper parts of our territory. We know all of this perfectly well, and no one should have any doubts," he added.

It should be noted that the remarks came after Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia dismissed as unfounded statements by Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin, who claimed the three countries had allowed Ukraine to use their airspace to carry out strikes against Russia. The Baltic states submitted a joint diplomatic protest to the Russian diplomatic mission over the comments.
