Moldova recalls ambassador from Russia after drone crash

Moldova’s Foreign Ministry recalls ambassador from Russia for consultations after drone crashes in country

Axar.az reports, citing Moldova’s Foreign Ministry, that Moldova has recalled its ambassador to Russia, Lilian Darii, for consultations following a drone crash on Moldovan territory.

“The Foreign Ministry strongly condemns the incident in which a drone crashed and exploded in the Crocmaz area of the Stefan Voda district,” the statement said.

The Foreign Ministry described the incident as a violation of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova.
