Messi to sue Argentine media for invasion of privacy

Lionel Messi, the forward and captain of Argentina's national team and Inter Miami, is set to sue Argentine media for invasion of privacy.

Axar.az reports, citing Telecom Asia Sport, that according to journalist Fran Casaretto’s X account, the footballer reacted very negatively to the press’s actions during his father’s farewell.

The ceremony was held privately under heightened security measures, but this did not deter media representatives.

It should be noted that Jorge Messi passed away at died on August 8 at the age of 68 after a prolonged illness.

The cemetery in Rosario was secured by guards. Only family members and the closest friends of the footballer were allowed into the chapel where the intimate ceremony took place.
