Napoli's Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku has agreed to join Fenerbahce.

Axar.az reports that, according to Italian journalist Matteo Moretto's X account, the 33-year-old footballer has reached an agreement with the Istanbul club on the personal terms of a potential transfer. The next step will be negotiations between Fenerbahce and Napoli.

The Turkish club has already submitted an initial offer of around €6 million for Lukaku. Napoli, meanwhile, reportedly wants to receive around €12 million from the striker's sale.

Lukaku's contract with the Naples-based club runs until the summer of 2027. Earlier reports said that he had not joined Napoli's preseason preparations and that the club was ready to sell the player for €10 million.

The Belgian forward made five appearances for Napoli last season, scoring one goal and receiving one yellow card.
