Bomb threats target airports and flights across Europe

At least 25 flights across Europe have been affected by bomb threats, forcing several aircraft to make emergency or precautionary landings.

Axar.az reports, citing The Independent, that flights from Dublin, London, Madrid, Copenhagen, Helsinki and Warsaw were among those affected on Thursday.

Heathrow and Birmingham airports in the UK also received hoax bomb threats, which were quickly resolved without disrupting flights.

Authorities said inspections had found no hazardous or suspicious materials. No country has so far been identified as responsible for the threats.
