Georgia intends to fully use its transit potential

One of Georgia's key priorities is to fully use its transit potential, Georgian First Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister Dimitri Kumsishvili said at a seminar on trade and economic cooperation with China.

Axar.az reports citing APA.

"Georgia has historically been a part of the Silk Road. The shortest route from China to Europe passes through Georgia. We intend to increase our historical role in this regard," he said.

Kumsishvili also noted that Georgia attaches great importance to cooperation with China.
