Lukashenko confesses: CIS is losing its importance

The CIS is losing its importance in resolving important issues.

Axar.az reports that the statement came from President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with Mir TV.

According to him, the CIS is already used for meetings of presidents and the adoption of statements. However, he said that there are many restrictions in the CIS:

"Central Asian countries are looking to China," he said. China is helping Central Asia well and behaving well. China can help them with investments, billions of dollars and other things. Recently, national selfishness has taken hold of everyone, including Russia. We were actually divided into parts."
