Pakistan’s Air Force carried out precision strikes on 10 locations in Afghanistan used to launch and store drones following an incursion into Pakistani airspace.

Axar.az reports that Pakistani Information Minister Attaullah Tarar said on X that drones launched from Afghan territory entered Pakistan on September 23, calling the incident a violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

According to Tarar, Pakistan’s air defense systems detected, tracked and neutralized all the intruding drones before they could reach their intended targets.

He said Pakistan carried out the strikes in exercise of its right to self-defense, targeting what he described as military facilities directly linked to the attempted attacks.

Tarar said the strikes were “deliberate, precise, calibrated and proportionate” and limited to identified military objectives.
