White, yellow and red zones will be introduced in Iran as part of the fight against coronavirus.
Axar.az informs that, the statement came from Iranian President Hassan Rouhani.
"Prohibitions against coronavirus will be determined by regional risk. If no new infections or deaths occur in a region for two weeks in a row, the Ministry of Health will declare it a white zone. Other regions will be declared yellow or red depending on the severity of the virus," Rouhani said.
According to Rouhani, mosques and other places of worship will be opened in the areas already declared white.
So far, 89,328 cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Iran, and 5,650 people have died.
