A two-week strike has been declared in Georgia

A strike has been declared in Georgia from April 30 to May 13.

Axar.az reports that the Georgian government has made a decision in this regard.

According to the decision, Easter will be celebrated in the country from April 30 to May 3. May 4-8 will be a public holiday, as well as May 10-11.

Victory Day will be celebrated on May 9, and a religious holiday (Apostle Andrei Pervozvanni) on May 12.

Thus, April 30 to May 13 will not be considered a working day in the country.

According to the government's decision, during the holidays they will be allowed to work in certain areas of agriculture, the banking sector, health and some sectors of the economy.

It is reported that the third wave of coronavirus has started in the country. The decision was made to prevent the population from gathering more closely on Easter and other significant holidays, and thus to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
