Zarif apologized for the voice recording

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif has apologized for distributing the recording.

Axar.az reports that Zarif shared this on his Instagram page.

"I regret that the confidential exchange of views on the importance of synergy between diplomacy and the battlefield for future governments to use the valuable experience of the last eight years has turned into an internal dispute," he said.

Earlier, an audio recording of Zarif's interview with an Iranian economist was released. In the audio recording, Zarif said that the assassinated leader of the Jerusalem Brigade, Qasem Soleimani, was obstructing him, that Russia was trying to violate the nuclear agreement, and that Kerry had informed him about the Israeli attacks.
