Warning to Europe from Ankara, a message to Asia

There are paradigmatic changes in our relations with Asia.

Axar.az reports that Ibrahim Kalin, head of the Public Relations Department of the Presidential Administration of Turkey, said this in an interview.

"While Turkey has fulfilled all its obligations related to membership in the European Union (EU), the EU's failure to open chapters creates the impression of alienation. We want the EU membership process to continue. Although Turkey is not a member of the EU, it continues and will continue to trade with European countries. The EU should be in a constructive position. We don't want to stick to double standards. EU membership is Turkey's strategic choice," said Kalın.
