German Foreign Minister Analena Berbok will visit Georgia on March 23-24.

Axar.az reports that the German Embassy in Georgia has released information about this.

It is reported that the purpose of the visit is to create close and direct relations between the two countries and to deepen the cooperation between Georgia and Europe in the future.

Within the framework of the visit, the German minister will have meetings with Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Foreign Minister Iliya Darchiashvili. In addition, the minister will meet with students, civil society and opposition representatives.

Germany's support for Georgia's rapprochement with the European Union and NATO, the reforms to be implemented in this area, and the strengthening of cooperation with South Caucasus countries will be the main topics of discussion at the meetings.
