Vera Putina, who claimed to be the mother of Russian President Vladimir Putin, died in Georgia at the age of 97.

According to information, Putin was buried on May 30 in Metekhi village of Khazar municipality in eastern Georgia.

It should be noted that Vera Putina was born in 1926 in the Perm region of the RSFSR. According to her, she met a married man and gave birth to a child from him - Vova Putin. Later, the woman married a Georgian and moved to Metekhi with her son. He sent his son to Russia to live with his parents because his stepfather misbehaved with Vova. And he hasn't seen her since.
