The number of military personnel in the Russian Armed Forces has increased by approximately 170,000 people.

Axar.az reports that Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a corresponding decree.

Thus, according to the document, the number of staff of the armed forces was determined to be 2,209,130 ​​people, including 1,320,000 military personnel.

In the previous decree, this number was 2 million 39 thousand 758 people, including 1 million 150 thousand 628 military personnel.
