When Volodymyr Zelensky lived in the bunker, he complained about the lack of sunlight and fresh air, his face turned yellow. There was not enough food. Sweets were distributed at official receptions, and canned meat and baked bread were available in the common kitchen.

Axar.az reports that "Time" magazine journalist Simon Schuster mentioned this in his book "Showman" about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Later, food supply was established. For breakfast, Volodymyr Zelensky ate an omelette, and hot dogs, potatoes and goulash were prepared for his assistants. There was a supply of alcohol in the bunker. Sometimes the president of Ukraine poured wine for his colleagues who joined him for lunch. The inhabitants of the bunker sometimes watched movies. They often chose new Hollywood movies. "Volodymyr Zelensky refused to watch Soviet comedies, because, after the start of military operations, those films created a feeling of lethargy in him," the author said.

Shuster writes that the shelter is located under the residence of the President of Ukraine in Kyiv:

"Zelensky himself was pale, his assistant made him look like a walking corpse."
