Will Turkiye build 4,000 to 14,000 km of railway?

It is planned to build 1,780 kilometres of roads and 14,000 kilometres of railways in Turkiye by 2028.

Axar.az reports that the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkiye Abdulgadir Uraloglu said these words during his speech in Izmir.

According to him, it is planned to increase the total length of railways in Turkiye to 28 thousand kilometres.

"In the coming years, the Turkish government will take important steps in the field of civil aviation, but in the field of transport, the main attention will be paid to railways. State investments are intended for this issue. This is a priority," the minister said.
