Spain will not send troops to Ukraine because it does not want to escalate the conflict with Russia.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the Minister of Defense of Spain, Margarita Robles.

"We, like most NATO countries, understand that it is inappropriate to send troops to Ukraine, because it would mean an escalation of the conflict. Escalation must be avoided at all costs," Robles said.
