The fighting over Donbas will end as soon as control over the main city of the region - Slavyansk - is seized.

Axar.az reports that, this was stated by British military expert Alexander Mercouris.

According to the expert, the end of the fighting over Donbas will be brought about by the fall of the last major stronghold still under Kyiv's control - Slavyansk-Kramatorsk."
