Markov accused Macron

French President Emmanuel Macron plans to visit New Caledonia tomorrow.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by Russian political scientist Sergey Markov.

"I wonder if he wants to personally lead the punitive operation against the Kanaks? A savage, a war criminal," he said.

It should be noted that France wants to amend the constitution to grant citizenship to those who have lived on the island for more than ten years. The goal is to change the result in favor of France in the elections and referendums that will be held through demographic intervention. The local population strongly opposes it.

According to the latest information, as a result of the riots in New Caledonia, 6 people died, dozens were injured, and more than 200 people were detained. The autonomous body suffered more than 200 million euros in damage.

Violent police intervention still continues.
