Excitement in Russia: Putin announced his successor

The Russian elite is excited about the appointment of Alexey Dyumin as the Secretary of the State Council. This is considered as confirmation of Dyumin's future presidency in Russia through Putin's choice.

Axar.az reports this statement made by Russian political analyst Sergey Markov.

"Such discussions have been ongoing for a long time. Dyumin comes from Putin's security service, from the ranks of special service colleagues. Then Dyumin proved himself very well as the governor of the Tula region. Now Dyumin will oversee Russia's main elite at the federal level as the Secretary of the State Council. The State Council, according to the new Constitution, can play a collective presidential role. The main thing is that today many have strengthened the idea that Putin sees Dyumin as the future president of Russia," he said.

It should be noted that Putin today appointed General Colonel Dyumin as the Secretary of the State Council. Dyumin was brought in as Putin's assistant a few days ago.
