Roberto Montella was re-elected as the Secretary General of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly.

Axar.az was informed about this by the press service of the OSCE PA.

R. Montell's new mandate will begin on January 1, 2026 and end on December 31, 2030.

The Secretary-General has overall responsibility for directing the work of the Assembly, ensuring the efficiency of the Secretariat and overseeing its offices in Copenhagen and Vienna, and for implementing the decisions of the Bureau, the Standing Committee and the Assembly.

It should be recalled that R. Montella held this post for the first time in January 2016.
