21.5 thousand US dollars to fight in Ukraine

The mayor of the Russian capital, Sergey Sobyanin, signed a decree on providing one-time payments of 1.9 million rubles (21.5 thousand US dollars) to those who signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense to fight in Ukraine.

Axar.az reports that this is stated in the Russian media.

It was reported that the one-time payment is a record amount for Russia.

It is noted that previously the highest amount of money for those fighting in Ukraine was set in the Karachay-Cherkessia region.

Thus, in June, fighters were given a one-time payment of 1.3 million rubles.
