Russian envoy: foreign mercenaries linked to crimes

Russian special forces are gathering detailed information about Ukrainian mercenaries. The identities of more than 4,000 individuals have already been determined, and investigations into some of them have been completed remotely.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Rodion Miroshnik, the Russian Foreign Ministry's ambassador for special assignments.

According to him, whether they are Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel, nationalists, radicals, or foreign mercenaries, they will be held accountable for their crimes:

"At some point, these people will have to look back. I think their crimes will be known in several countries, and it will be revealed not only who the private military companies working as mercenary recruitment centers for Ukraine are collaborating with, but also which personnel were sent to conduct military operations in Ukraine."

Miroshnik noted that foreign mercenaries are usually individuals suffering from psychological disorders who despise the norms and principles of international humanitarian law. They are inclined towards violence, murder, bloodshed, and mocking civilians.
