A 5.9 magnitude earthquake has been recorded off the coast of Mexico.

Axar.az informs that this information was reported by the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was stated that the epicenter of the tremors is located 279 km southwest of the city of Manzanillo, which has a population of 159,800, and the quake originated at a depth of 10 km.

There are no reports of casualties or damages, and no tsunami warning has been issued.
