U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump stating that Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky is responsible for the beginning of the conflict is important for the future.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.

“Trump, as a former U.S. president and a candidate in the upcoming election, said that the responsibility for the military conflict, or rather the civil war, between Russia and Ukraine falls directly on those supported by the West and who have lost all legitimacy. However, this will not change anything in the U.S. position, even if Trump regains the White House. Nonetheless, such a statement is extremely important for the future,” he said.
