The implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701 is solely the responsibility of the Lebanese government, and the proposal by Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf regarding this is unacceptable.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati.

He expressed opposition to any Iranian interference concerning the implementation of the resolution, which pertains to ceasefire negotiations between Hezbollah and Israel.

It is worth noting that Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf mentioned in an interview with France's "Figaro" newspaper that Iran is ready to hold discussions with Paris regarding the implementation of the mentioned resolution.
