Ronaldo tops 2024's highest-paid footballers list

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Portuguese forward for Saudi Arabia's Al-Nassr club, has been named the highest-paid footballer in the world for 2024.

Axar.az reports that according to the financial magazine Forbes, Ronaldo's earnings this year amount to $285 million.

Lionel Messi, the forward for Inter Miami, ranks second with projected earnings of $135 million. Neymar from Al-Hilal takes the third spot with $110 million. Karim Benzema from Al-Ittihad is fourth with $104 million, while Kylian Mbappé from Real Madrid rounds out the top five with $90 million.
