Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that the Middle East is nearing a potential full-scale war due to escalating tensions between Israel and Iran.

Axar.az reports that speaking alongside Chinese President Xi Jinping at a BRICS+ meeting in Kazan, Putin noted that the conflict that began in Gaza a year ago has now extended to Lebanon and impacted other regional countries.

He remarked that the rising confrontation between Israel and Iran resembles a chain reaction, heightening the risks for the entire region.
