Israel's strikes on military sites in Iran are a self-defense measure following Tehran's ballistic missile attack earlier this month.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Sean Savett, a spokesperson for the White House National Security Council.

"Targeted strikes on military sites are a self-defense action and a response to Iran's ballistic missile attack against Israel on October 1," he said.
