It is necessary to strengthen the cooperation between Moscow and Tehran in order to oppose the policies of the USA and NATO.

Axar.az reports that Iranian political scientist Ruhullah Mudabbar said this while commenting on the talks between Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and Russian leader Vladimir Putin at the BRICS summit in Kazan.

"The talks between Putin and Pezeshkian took place in a situation where the United States and the EU are pursuing a hostile policy against Iran, imposing new sanctions against Tehran almost every week. While the Pezeshkian government has declared its intention to dialogue and cooperate with Western countries, the West rejecting all these requests, he increased his aggressiveness against Iran," said the political scientist.
