The participants of the climate conference returned to the Paris agreements, some clauses of which have remained unchanged for 15 years.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Boris Titov, the special representative of the Russian President for relations with international organizations to achieve sustainable development goals, while speaking at COP29.

"Finally, harmonized carbon markets have been launched for all countries. Another issue is that each country is developing its own model. The basis for the formation of a mandatory market has been created," Titov said.

He said that at the COP29 summit, Azerbaijan managed to conclude two agreements that advance the carbon markets.
