Saudi Arabia has warned Germany about a terror threat three times.

Axar.az reports that this information was published by Germany's "Der Spiegel" magazine.

It was noted that Saudi authorities had informed German law enforcement agencies at least three times about a person named Taleb al-Abdulmohsen. This individual carried out a terror attack by driving a car into visitors at the Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg.

The Saudi side stated that there was strong evidence suggesting Abdulmohsen’s connections to radical groups. They urged German law enforcement to take immediate action to prevent the threat. However, it was revealed that despite the warnings, the individual was not placed under surveillance, leading to the tragic incident.

It should be noted that last night, a vehicle was driven into a crowd at the Christmas market in Magdeburg. According to law enforcement, the incident was carried out by a 50-year-old man from Saudi Arabia, acting alone. He has been residing in Germany since 2006 and holds a residence permit.

The incident resulted in 5 deaths and 205 injuries.

Previously, it was reported that two vehicles were driven into people, with the death toll stated as 11.
