The Palestinian administration has ordered the suspension of Qatar’s Al Jazeera TV channel’s broadcasts within its territory.

Axar.az reports this information, citing AFP.

The decision was attributed to Al Jazeera’s “persistent dissemination of provocative content and reports characterized by misinformation, incitement, and interference in Palestine’s internal affairs.”

A representative of the channel confirmed receiving instructions to suspend the operations of its Ramallah office.

It is worth noting that Israel had previously suspended Al Jazeera’s broadcasts as well.
