Today, Armenia's national hero, Major General Tiran Khachatryan, has been detained.

Axar.az reports that Armenian media has provided information about this development.

It is stated that early this morning, officials from the Investigative Committee arrived at his home and informed him that they had an order for his detention.

According to Tiran Khachatryan's lawyer, everything seems to be heading towards arrest, and it is highly likely that the general will be arrested by the end of the day through a court decision.

It has been noted that his detention is related to the 44-day war.
