In Poland, the "Legion of Ukraine" military unit consisting of Ukrainian citizens signed a contract with women for the first time.

Axar.az reports that this is stated in the information the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine provided.

"At the General Consulate in Lublin, contracts were signed with the second group of Ukrainian citizens living abroad for military service in the ranks of the Ukrainian Legion. "For the first time, women who chose specialties related to medicine and communication joined the Ukrainian Legion," it was said.
