Ilham Aliyev meets Turkish FM Hakan Fidan

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Foreign Minister of the Republic of Turkiye Hakan Fidan on January 18.

Axar.az reports that Hakan Fidan conveyed the greetings of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the head of state.

President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the greetings and asked to convey his greetings to Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

At the meeting, it was emphasized that the relations of friendship, brotherhood, and strategic alliance between Azerbaijan and Turkiye have been successfully developed in political, economic, and all other fields and confidence was expressed that our relations will continue to strengthen.

During the conversation, the perspectives on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest were exchanged.
