Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's decision to stop the transit of Russian gas through the territory of Ukraine harms Slovakia and the European Union.

Axar.az reports that Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said this after a telephone conversation with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

He stressed that if the Ukrainian authorities do not reconsider the decision, his country will take measures.

It should be noted that on January 1 of this year, the Russian gas supply to Europe from Ukraine's territory was stopped.
