Billionaire Elon Musk has been nominated for the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by Member of the European Parliament, Branko Grims, who put forward Musk’s candidacy.

The nomination is related to his contribution to the protection of freedom of speech and human rights.

"The proposal for Mr. Elon Musk to receive the 2025 Nobel Peace Prize for his consistent advocacy for the fundamental human right of freedom of speech and thus for peace has been successfully submitted today. A sincere thank you to all the co-proposers and everyone who helped with this challenging project!" Grims wrote on social media.
