41 bodies have been recovered from the river, belonging to those killed when a passenger plane and a military helicopter collided mid-air over Washington, D.C.

Axar.az reports that DC Police Chief, John Donnelly, provided this information.

He mentioned that the identities of 28 people have been confirmed.

It is noted that on January 30, a passenger plane and a military helicopter collided near Reagan National Airport. The plane had 60 passengers and 4 crew members, while the helicopter had 3 military personnel onboard.

It is confirmed that there are no survivors from the crash.
